Amitabh Bachchan, Mira Rajput, Shilpa Shetty and Yami Gautam among others, to this end, marked the tradition with love and took to social media to wish their fans and followers.
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan shared an image with wife Jaya Bachchan on Instagram and Twitter to mark the day.

Taking to Instagram stories, she shared a video of a basket sent by Raj’s mother. She can be heard saying, “That’s my sargi from my mum-in-law. Happy Karwa Chauth to everyone.”
The goodie basket also contained dry fruits and snacks among other items. It also contained a note which read, “Happy Karva Chauth. From mum and dad. May God bless you.”

Sonali Bendre also celebrated Karwa Chauth. She wrote on Instagram, “I have always believed that traditions are what you make of them... to me they are a bridge between the past, present and future. I respect where they came from but never hesitated to give it my own meaning. Karwa Chauth is one such festival… to me, it has always been a celebration of family and friends that are family. A day spent in rituals with the people you love. The fact that I get pampered by my husband is a bonus. It’s a celebration of togetherness and companionship, cementing the love we share with our husbands & the bond between our family and friends,” she wrote.
Notably, she wore the same lehenga she wore at her wedding 19 years ago, and looked even more beautiful.
